None of Dead by Daylight’s alternative game modes have become permanent, although developers have experimented with various game modes in the recent past – from Lights Out to My Little Oni, there’s been a ton of variety to choose from. Many fans would no doubt love to see an alternate game mode become permanent, whether that’s the new 2v8 mode or the previously successful Chaos Shuffle.<\/p>\n
While the 2v8 mode isn’t currently planned to be permanent, this could definitely change in the future given its popularity. Developers could even add new killers<\/a> and survivor classes<\/a>. For now, though, you’ll want to check out the 2v8 mode while you can and bring a few friends, since it’s going away on the 8th of August.
