Co-developer Motion Twin officially confirmed the final game content update launch<\/a> for their roguelike Metrodvania release, Dead Cells<\/a>, this past week. The game has been well-supported post-launch across multiple platforms, including a PlayStation 5 launch in 2023, with several updates and expansion releases, and it has gained critical praise for its level design and combat.<\/p>\n

Six years after its release, the developer will end support for Dead Cells with the last update, Update 35, which they shared the official release on social media. Also called “The End is Near,” the update will be free to own across all available platforms on 19th August 2024 and adds plenty of new content, Quality-of-Life (QoL) improvements, bug fixes, and more, according to the patch notes<\/a>.<\/p>\n
