Attention, heroes of Azeroth; this is your call to arms! We think you should join The War Within<\/a>‘s beta launch test to help Blizzard simulate the expansion’s full launch and hopefully avoid that painful server downtime<\/a> on 22 August (Early Access) or 26 August (official release). <\/p>\n

The developers have announced that they are running a The War Within beta launch test for one day and just for a few hours.<\/p>\n

The test takes place on 15 August 2024 at 1:30 p.m. PDT (4:30 p.m. EDT, 22:30 CEST)<\/strong>. If everything goes well, Blizzard aims to end the test a few hours later at roughly 3:30 p.m. PDT (6:30 p.m. EDT, 00:30 CEST)<\/strong> and return other test realms to service thereafter.<\/p>\n

At 13:30 PDT, only the “Launch Test” realm will be available on the PTR list. Players must log on and copy their live character or use a fresh level 70 character template, then teleport to Dalaran.<\/p>\n

At 14:00 PDT, a full expansion launch will be simulated, and all testers will receive a quest to start the expansion intro at the same time. Testers will then play through the expansion’s intro to the first zone, the Isle of Dorn.<\/p>\n
