The news has undoubtedly excited Nintendo fans on what to expect, including new gaming releases and, importantly, news on the next Switch console.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the next Nintendo Direct presentation will not showcase any gaming releases or make Switch 2 announcements as it will turn its attention to something completely different: the Nintendo Museum. This announcement may have left some Nintendo fans somewhat confused or a little disappointed as they hoped for gaming announcements or potential teases or news for the Nintendo Switch 2 console, as some had speculated.<\/p>\n<p>Nintendo took to their social media accounts on 18th August 2024, announcing that the next Direct presentation has been penciled in for <strong>19th August 2024 at 3 pm PT \/ 6 pm ET \/ 10 pm UTC<\/strong>, which certainly created much excitement online.
