The season will bring back Kickoff in January 2024 and this time, it will have a brand new format.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>Read More: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/valorant\/vct-off-season-spotlight-series-mixed-gender-event\">Riot Announces VCT OFF\/\/SEASON Spotlight Series Mixed-Gender Event<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A total of 12 teams, including partnered and two Ascension winners of 2023 &amp; 2024, will compete in a double elimination bracket throughout the event. The winner and runner up of Kickoff in each region will solidify their slot for Masters Bangkok, happening in February.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Kickoff become 12 Teams Double Elimination format, Top 2 to Bangkok (8 teams total)<\/p>\n<p>Top 3 in Stage 1 go to Toronto (12 teams total) <\/p>\n<p>Stage 2 not including Stage 1 records, Top 3+1 go to Paris (16 teams total)<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Esports ID &#8211; Valorant SEA (@esportsid_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/esportsid_\/status\/1825924506692784323?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 20, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async><\/script><br \/>\nAfter Kickoff, Stage 1 will begin in March and will go all the way till May, from where the top three teams will move forward to Masters Toronto, schedule to begin in June.
