Not only did we get a release date for the long-awaited <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/indiana-jones\">Indiana Jones and the Great Circle<\/a> from Xbox-owned publisher Bethesda &mdash; we also got a reveal of a PS5 version coming next year.<\/p>\n<p>Not only is the character of Indiana Jones elusive in the iconic film series, but the upcoming game&#8217;s release date has been difficult to pin down since The Great Circle&#8217;s reveal. Considering the Troy Baker-led title has been one of Xbox&#8217;s killer exclusives for months, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/indiana-jones\/game-release-date-news\">Indiana Jones and the Great Circle release date<\/a> has been MIA.<\/p>\n<p>However, thanks to the stream of reveals during <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/iT5ilwECdrA\">Gamescom Opening Night Live<\/a> on August 20, 2024, we&#8217;ve finally got a release date for Jones&#8217; next adventure &mdash; <strong>December 9, 2024<\/strong>. Of course, pre-ordering the expensive Premium Edition gives you a host of bonuses too, including three days early access and the upcoming &#8216;The Order of Giants&#8217; story DLC, but that&#8217;s hardly the biggest announcement for Indy during Gamescom.<\/p>\n<div class=\"rsp-embed-container\" contenteditable=\"false\">\n<div style=\"left: 0; width: 100%; height: 0; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.5%;\"><iframe style=\"border: 0; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/STrKl828Aeg?feature=oembed\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\" srcdoc=\"&lt;style&gt;*{padding:0;margin:0;overflow:hidden}html,body{height:100%}img,span{position:absolute;width:100%;top:0;bottom:0;margin:auto}span{height:1.5em;text-align:center;font:48px\/1.5 sans-serif;color:white;text-shadow:0 0 0.5em black}&lt;\/style&gt;&lt;a href=https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/STrKl828Aeg?autoplay=1&gt;&lt;img src=https:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/STrKl828Aeg\/hqdefault.jpg alt='YouTube video thumbnail'&gt;&lt;span&gt;&#9654;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/a&gt;\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In fact, despite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/indiana-jones\/confirmed-as-xbox-exclusive-title-in-ftc-case\">Xbox confirming Indiana Jones as an exclusive<\/a>&nbsp;during the FTC trial, the company has announced that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to PS5. In fact, the upcoming action-adventure only has a few months of exclusivity for Xbox and PC, launching in Spring 2025 for PlayStation players.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, that does mean more people get to experience the excitement of Indiana Jones&#8217; new adventure, something we praised in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/indiana-jones\/indiana-jones-and-the-great-circle-preview\">Indiana Jones preview<\/a>, but it does mean that Xbox&#8217;s approach to console exclusives could be coming to an end.
