Elizabeth Lial will return as Vanessa Shelly\/Vanessa Afton in the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Movie<\/strong>, the actress confirmed on her Instagram story yesterday. In response to a fan’s question as to whether we’ll see more of Vanessa in FNAF 2, she simply responded with a photo of herself giving a thumbs up.<\/p>\n

Lial isn’t the only Five Nights at Freddy’s cast member to confirm their return in the second film. Horror icon Matthew Lillard has confirmed in an interview<\/a> that he signed a three-movie deal for the franchise, suggesting that, just like his character Springtrap, he’ll “always come back.”<\/p>\n

For now, it’s currently unknown as to which other human characters, or animatronics, we’ll see return in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 – and fans will have to wait a little over a year to find out. The Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 movie is set to release on 5 December 2025, following the massive box office success of the original Five Nights at Freddy’s movie<\/a> back in late 2023.<\/p>\n
