The NCAA football season kicked off on Saturday and reaches full speed today, and that’s as good a time as any for College Football 25 update 1.009 to arrive. They’d previously dropped a full title update in early August, and the smaller College Football 25 update 1.008<\/a> hit just over a week ago with a few key hotfixes to known bugs. The College Football 25 update 1.009 patch notes reveal a series of gameplay tuning changes, key bug fixes, playbook updates, and more.<\/p>\n

College Football 25 Update 1.009 Patch Notes (August 29)<\/h2>\n

Players got a quick hotfix last week to address issues with playbook and scheme changes, the position changes screen, and non-conference scheduling in Dynasty Mode. With the deployment of College Football 25 update 1.009, players will see some changes for the Switch Stick and several other gameplay tuning adjustments.<\/p>\n

As for new content, players are getting nearly a dozen new formations across a few dozen different College Football 25 playbooks<\/a>, updates to several with additional empty and short-yardage plays, new Jet Sweep series plays for a few playbooks, new NIL players for multiple teams, and about a dozen new uniforms along with a few uniforms being updated for the 2024 season.<\/p>\n
