The Perfect World Shanghai Major’s RMR event qualifiers have been a bloodbath, to say the least. We’ve already reported on the European RMR teams<\/a> and the Americas RMR teams<\/a>, but now, it’s time to take a look at the eight Counter-Strike 2 (CS2)<\/a> teams that made it through the Asia-Pacific qualifiers.<\/p>\n

The qualifiers saw a massive turnout in the Asia-Pacific region. According to tournament organizer Perfect World, over 8,000 teams were in attendance for the various open qualifiers. <\/p>\n

The Shanghai Major is the second-ever CS2 Major Championship, boasting a massive $1.25 million prize pool. It takes place from 30 November to 15 December 2024, and the regional RMR events will take place earlier in November 2024. Two teams from the Asia-Pacific RMR will earn a spot in the Major Championship.<\/p>\n

You’ll find all eight Shanghai Major Asia-Pacific RMR teams below, including details on how they qualified. Direct invites are due to a team’s standing on Valve’s Regional Standings leaderboard.<\/p>\n

    I was watching the Middle Eastern qualifier at the edge of my seat as a team filled with South African players (Bravado Gaming) was in attendance. Unfortunately, Bravado got knocked out by eventual winners DRILLAS. <\/p>\n
