One of the first major battles you’ll come across in The Plucky Squire is a boxing match against a honey badger. Just as his name implies, he’s guarding the honey – which is exactly what you need. This is the first “boss” battle in the game, so you might be a little confused about how to approach it, but thankfully it’s not too hard to take down the honey badger and get to the goods. Here’s your guide on how to defeat the honey badger<\/strong> in the boxing match in The Plucky Squire.<\/p>\n

How To Defeat The Honey Badger<\/h2>\n

In your boxing badger battle, you’ll need to use your attacks wisely.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

You’ll have to take down the honey badger in this boxing match both in order to progress and get the related achievement. The match differs a little from the previous combat you’ve done in the game, since you’re now boxing rather than taking down your opponent with a sword.<\/p>\n

Once the match starts, you’ll need to jab and hook<\/strong> the creature strategically. If you continually jab, you’ll find that the badger will just block your attacks, preventing you from dealing any damage. He might also deal some damage of his own between your attacks, weakening you over time.<\/p>\n

So, just jabbing or just hooking won’t work too well. Instead, you’ll want to use your hooks followed by a jab<\/strong>. Follow the instructions on the screen to learn how to jab and hook, and then repeat the actions over and over again in that order to take down the badger. If you’re quick and efficient enough, you can easily get through this combat without a scratch on you. This can take a bit of practice, but it’s not too hard to get the hang of.<\/p>\n

Once you’ve successfully defeated the badger, you’ll get the Powerful Puncher <\/strong>achievement. You’ll also be able to go right past the honey badger and get the wax you came here for, allowing you to wrap up the chapter and progress further.
