Dead by Daylight’s finishing Mori system is returning in the 8.3.0 PTB, allowing killers to perform a Mori on the final survivor without an offering. “This will provide some visual flair and create a satisfying end to a match,” developers wrote in the newest patch notes.

Currently, a Mori offering is needed for a killer to take down a survivor by their own hand. Depending on the Rarity, the killer can either kill one survivor of their choice, the last survivor, or all survivors on second hook. This change would render Memento Mori offerings obsolete in their current state, so developers say they’d be replaced with offerings that will net you extra Bloodpoints for performing a Mori.
