With the update, there are also several bug fixes, as well as new Radio Stations, new Party Royale entertainment to look forward to, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s everything you need to know about the latest update with our Fortnite v13.40 patch notes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Fortnite Joy Ride update<\/h2>\n<p>The biggest new feature with the Fortnite Joy Ride update is in the name, as you are now able to zip across the map in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fortnite\/fortnite-cars-release-date-fuel-sizes-boosting\" target=\"_blank\">variety of cars, from small vehicles to trucks<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fortnite\/fortnite-pro-is-banned-during-fncs-for-using-infinite-crashpads-but-he-may-of-had-no-choice\" target=\"_blank\">Fortnite pro is banned during FNCS for using infinite item bug, but he may have had no choice<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the Fortnite Joy Ride update (patch v13.40), you will find a new Radio Towers feature. Apart from this annoying bug finally being fixed, there&#8217;s also several other fixes and improvements thanks to the game&#8217;s official Trello board.<\/p>\n<p><b>General:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inability to edit floors and roofs at certain angles.<\/li>\n<li>&lsquo;Lock Input Method as Mouse&rsquo; does not lock the input method.<\/li>\n<li>Mouse cursor appearing on PC when playing with a controller.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Battle Royale:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Placing a map marker cancels movement.<\/li>\n<li>Replays not saving on PlayStation 4.<\/li>\n<li>Water Balloon Toy temporarily disabled.<\/li>\n<li>Slow Glider speed after redeploying in certain situations.<\/li>\n<li>XP bar can be visually incorrect while in match \/ incorrect levelling-up.<\/li>\n<li>Ocean&rsquo;s Bottomless Chug Jug unable to be picked up while recharging if dropped by another player.<\/li>\n<li>&ldquo;Deal damage within 10s of landing from the Whirlpool at Hydro 16&rdquo; should say &ldquo;at the Yacht&rdquo; instead.<\/li>\n<li>&ldquo;Land at Frenzy Farm\/The Yacht and finish Top 25&rdquo; not counting in Duos\/Squads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Creative Mode:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arena Island progress reset soon.<\/li>\n<li>Billboards broken in islands that used Roboto.<\/li>\n<li>Multi-selected items do not rotate properly on grid snap.<\/li>\n<li>Crash on consoles when renaming a device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While Epic Games doesn&#8217;t share the exact patch notes for a Fortnite update anymore, this is a good indication of everything you should expect to see fixed when jumping into&nbsp;Fortnite v13.40.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As promised, Epic Games has released the Fortnite Joy Ride update on 5th August 2020 for all platforms, finally bringing cars to the game.
