While there are plenty of moves to choose from in NHL 25, one of the most useful is definitely the seemingly complex Between The Legs Deke. It’ll take a little practice, but we’ll go over all the NHL 25 controls you need for it. If a little temporary puck movement isn’t all you’re hoping for, get ready to hit a Between The Legs Pass or Between The Legs Shot at a moment’s notice.<\/p>\n

How to Between The Legs Deke in NHL 25<\/h2>\n

\"NHL®<\/p>\n

While the NHL 25 controls<\/a> haven’t changed much since their implementation of the Total Control scheme last year, many players might still want a refresher on complex moves like the Between The Legs Deke. One quick look at the Skill Moves<\/a> is likely to have players simply pressing and releasing B or Circle, but that might not do what you were hoping for.<\/p>\n

In order to do a regular Between The Legs Deke in NHL 25, first press B or Circle to move the puck into position. To finish the deke and move the puck back into a regular position, you’ll then want to press LB or L1 which cancels the action and brings you to a default stance.<\/p>\n

If you’d rather use a Between The Legs Pass to get the puck to a teammate, hold B or Circle and then press RT or R2 with the Left Stick aimed at the teammate you want to receive it. The biggest challenge of these isn’t just the base controls, so spend some time practicing the moves to better understand how to aim and how your player’s position affects the pass.<\/p>\n

How to Score a Between The Legs Shot in NHL 25<\/h2>\n

If you’d rather use this fancy move to get a goal, the controls are both simpler and more challenging. All you have to do is press B or Circle to take a Between The Legs Shot in NHL 25, but the hard part is actually aiming it properly.<\/p>\n

If you often play modes other than Be A Pro<\/a> and World of Chel<\/a>, spend some time in Free Skate with players that are both left-handed and right-handed. Try the move multiple times to get used to how your aim works out depending on which direction your player is pointed and the handedness of that player.<\/p>\n

From there, try out some Team Practice or Play Now if you want more time trying to hit a Between The Legs Shot in action.
