James and Maria will explore the basement of Brookhaven Hospital and will find a generator that they’ll need to power to use the elevator. Here’s where to find, and how to power, the generator in Silent Hill 2 remake’s Brookhaven Hospital basement.<\/p>\n

Powering The Generator<\/h2>\n

Once you get into the basement, head forward and grab the Hospital Basement Map. Then, turn right. Maria and James will come across a broken elevator. After some further exploration, they find a Generator<\/strong> in need of some fuel inside the aptly named Generator Room. This generator will power the elevator, but needs some fixing first. <\/p>\n

Find the Empty Fuel Can<\/strong> in the nearby Boiler Room 010 taking care to avoid – or kill – the many monsters inside.<\/p>\n

Then, leave that area and head across the hall into Laundry Storage 05. Push the push cart from this room into Laundry Storage 08 up against the wall so you can climb over into Storage 09. Be sure to kill any monsters in this room before you do – or avoid altering them in the first place – to keep Maria safe. <\/p>\n

In the next room, fill up the Empty Fuel Tank with gasoline<\/strong> from the machine in the back. Open the door leading out to the hallway to reunite with Maria, then make your way back to the Generator Room.<\/p>\n

Pour the fuel into the generator, then flip the switch on the left of the fuel funnel – and it’ll roar to life. With the elevator powered, you can now finally head up to the second floor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
