As I made my way through Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion<\/a>, following mostly the campaign and some Season of Hatred (Season 6) side content, I ran into a bit of an issue, one that I wrote off as some kind of noob mistake while getting reacquainted with Sanctuary. When it was time to upgrade my potion (every time from level 4 onwards), I was stuck, needing a rare Angel Breath<\/strong> herb. <\/p>\n

This became quite the annoyance, as I could remember during a previous season in the base game that I always had more than enough resources to upgrade my potions when the time came. <\/p>\n

Turns out, I wasn’t crazy or missed something important, and neither did you. Other players have been running into this issue as well, so much so that Blizzard has acted quickly, fixing this progression hurdle.<\/p>\n

In a hotfix update<\/a> in the early hours of the morning on 10 October 2024, Blizzard announced that Elites and Bosses now have a bigger chance to drop Angel Breath and gave some example values:<\/p>\n
