To make that possible, Ubisoft significantly boosted weapon damage and increased the cooldown on hacks.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Many of you told us TTK felt too slow and that it was too hard to eliminate opponents,&#8221; they said, in their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ubisoft.com\/en-au\/game\/hyper-scape\/news-updates\/1ENgZiKvKnjOZWz4H3zwip\/patch-notes-07312020?isSso=true&amp;refreshStatus=noLoginData\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">official patch notes<\/a>. &#8220;So, we have focused our changes on making the weapons more powerful, while preventing the Hacks from being used constantly to escape or eliminate opponents.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the changes proved to be controversial, and it heaped even more criticism on them. Many threads like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HYPERSCAPE\/comments\/i0v7a8\/unpopular_but_true_ttk_was_not_high_complainers\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web2x\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">this one<\/a> started to emerge, with players begging them to revert the changes.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, Ubisoft has been very interactive with the Hyper Scape community, and it didn&#8217;t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HYPERSCAPE\/comments\/i368wq\/a_message_from_the_dev_team\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">take them long to respond<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div data-oembed-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hyperscapegame\/status\/1290406275730354183?s=21\">\n<blockquote align=\"center\" class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">You&#8217;ve been sharing your feedback and we&#8217;ve been listening. But they acknowledged &#8220;it was almost a whiplash for many of you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The team is hard at work assessing the feedback and our gameplay data,&#8221; they added.
