I’ve been playing the Spiritborn class since 9 October 2024, and at the time of writing (early morning of 14 October 2024), I’ve managed to get roughly 15 Rod of Kepeleke drops. Yes, 15 drops of the Unique Quarterstaff, three of them being Ancestral with one Greater Affix.

We’ve got you covered with a complete guide, including the farming loop and the details stats for this powerful, Unique item.

Check out the precise instructions on how you can start farming the Rod of Kepeleke in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred quickly and efficiently, including how the farming loop works once you’ve completed the initial steps.

It is very likely that Rod of Kepeleke will drop from Duriel in your first five kills. The same goes when killing Andariel. The only two Spiritborn-focused normal Uniques that can drop from these two Uber bosses are Rod of Kepeleke and Sepazontec.

So the trick to keep this loop going is the Tribute of Titans, which you can use in Kurast Undercity runs to get more Boss Summoning materials. You’ll get Tribute of Titans to drop while killing Varshan, Grigoire, Duriel, Andariel, Lord Zir, and Beast in the Ice. There’s also a chance of these items dropping from other endgame activities.

Soon, you’ll be drowning in Rod of Kepeleke and hoping for a x3 Greater Affixes drop to appear.

For most Quill Volley-based builds, and any other Spiritborn build really, the Passive skill Velocity is a must, but you don’t really want to spend points on it. Instead, you want it on an item, which is the first nice thing about Rod of Kepeleke, adding 2 to 4 points in Velocity without Masterworking.

While the stats for Rod of Kepeleke are fantastic, it is the weapon’s unique power that really seals the deal. You never have to worry about resource management again, as it makes basic skills free to cast and makes your core skills (aka Quill Volley) a basic skill as well. Check out the official Rod of Kepeleke stats and unique power description below.

I can attest to the Rod of Kepeleke being completely overpowered. That’s to the point where I got the Spiritborn-focused Mythic Unique called “Nesekem, The Herald” and just instantly put it in my stash.

Diablo 4 Rod of Kepeleke: How To Farm

The loop is: Kill Uber bosses, use Tributes of Titans in Kurast Undercity, and kill Uber bosses again. Throw in some Helltides and their related Whispers quests if you are running low on specific materials.
