Unveiled at the Xbox Partner Preview showcase, Unknown Worlds and KRAFTON, Inc. have officially announced Subnautica 2. The underwater sandbox adventure title will be the third game in the Subnautica series<\/a>, following on from Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new game will take players to a brand new alien ocean world, with new biomes, creatures, and more. Like the previous entries, players will need to craft tools, build bases, and explore the depths of the dangerous oceans in order to uncover the mysteries of the world. <\/span><\/p>\n

For the first time, Subnautica 2 will include multiplayer co-op, allowing players to experience the ocean’s secrets together. Players will be able to work together to build tools, bases and more. <\/p>\n

The game is set to launch in Early Access, like the original, in 2025. It will be available on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Store and via Game Preview on Xbox Series X|S with Xbox Game Pass. <\/span><\/p>\n

No definitive date has been given for the start of the Early Access period, however more information is expected to arise in the coming months. <\/span><\/p>\n
