But as wonderful as was, it launched with a few bugs and glitches across PlayStation 5 and PC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/silent-hill\/sh2-review\">this reviewer<\/a>, there were very few bugs to contend with, others weren&#8217;t so lucky. Some players reported protagonist James Sunderland teleporting to areas he wasn&#8217;t supposed to access too early in the game. A stressful ordeal, and not just for James. The issue was with a certain peephole on a door in Brookhaven Hospital. If James interacted with it from the wrong angle, there was a chance he would be teleported to the otherside, locking progression.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/VEQtTkckZx5AoYta7njS74-CIDRkVaMjYZEAVy1H77E\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMy82NzE2NzM5ZTlkMzNkLTE5MmFmYjJjOWJkMzktc2NyZWVuc2hvdFVybC5qcGc\" alt=\"6716739e9d33d-192afb2c9bd39-screenshotUrl.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Don&#8217;t worry, James. You still have to face unreal monsters from the deepest recesses of your imagination, but at least you won&#8217;t teleport anymore. (Picture: Bloober Team, screenshot: Alexandra Hobbs)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>But Konami and Bloober Team have rolled out the game&#8217;s first major patch, 1.04, which aims to fix a lof of the glitches and bugs that players have been experiencing across PS5 and PC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Silent Hill 2 Patch 1.04 Notes<\/h2>\n<p>Aside from James&#8217; bout of teleportation in Brookhaven Hospital, the patch also addresses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An issue where breaking windows near Neely&rsquo;s Bar got James stuck in the window frame.<\/li>\n<li>An issue that allowed James to access the inaccessible balcony in Blue Creek Apartments.<\/li>\n<li>An issue with Abstract Daddy&rsquo;s behavior during boss fight where the enemy was not hitting James properly.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple issues with Abstract Daddy&rsquo;s 3rd TV &ndash; it should now have the correct audio, and the wall won&rsquo;t interfere with its position.<\/li>\n<li>An issue with a question mark from the Conference Room not disappearing after obtaining Cinderella figurine in Lakeview Hotel.<\/li>\n<li>An issue with collision detection with the Dayroom walls in Brookhaven Hospital.<\/li>\n<li>An issue where James was falling under the map when approaching Laura entering Brookhaven Hospital from the bushes on the left.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For a full list of patch notes, be sure to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.konami.com\/games\/silenthill\/2r\/news\/eu\/en\/update_104\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">check Konami&#8217;s website<\/a>.
