During Life is Strange: Double Exposure Chapter 1, Max will meet a new character called Amanda. Amanda has left some notes around telling people to “stop messing with other people’s art,” suggesting she cares a lot about protecting these pieces. To impress her and also get a special achievement, you can fix up all of the paintings people have flipped over in the Snapping Turtle.

There are a total of three paintings in the Snapping Turtle that Max needs to fix in order to impress Amanda and get an achievement. These are the Native Artist Spotlight, College Art, and Robot Painting. All of them are found indoors.

The first painting that needs to be fixed is in a pretty obvious spot. Just walk over to Amanda’s note and take a look at the paintings just above it. They’re hanging just underneath a plaque that says “Lakeport Native Artist Spotlight.”

Use the “Fix” interaction on the middle painting to rehang it in its proper alignment.

To see the second painting, first turn around from the first painting and then walk forwards toward the fireplace. From here, you should be able to see a wall with a painted mural featuring a cat and a friendly pirate with a heart on her cheek. On the wall here above the cat’s right eye, there’s also a painting hanging upside down – you’ll know it’s the right one because it has words on it, and the letters aren’t set in the right orientation. Flip the painting, called ‘College Art,’ over by selecting “Fix.”

The third and final painting you’ll need to fix in the Snapping Turtle is a little further back than the other two. Find the bar and then take a left towards the bathrooms. On the wall is a ‘Robot Painting.’ Walk past the people in your way to get to the painting on the wall, and, as you did with the others, ‘Fix’ it using the prompt.

Now that you’ve fixed all three paintings in the Snapping Turtle, you’re good to go with this optional task. You can now head back to Amanda and move on.
