After rumours of the team announcement last month, Team Liquid has revealed its first Valorant competitive roster.

The squad is formed entirely of players from unsigned UK team Fish123, who finished second at the WePlay! Valorant Invitational last month.

The UK players from Fish123 are Adam “ec1s” Eccles, Dom “soulcas” Sulcas, James “Kryptix” Affleck and Travis “L1NK” Mendoza, while Belgium’s Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, who joined the squad as a stand-in in June, is also on board.

Connor “Sliggy” Blomfield will also remain as head coach in their transition from Fish123 to Team Liquid.

The original Fish123 roster previously included Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, who was accused of cheating after leaving the side.

Speaking about the new squad, Victor Goossens, co-CEO of Team Liquid, said: “With Riot Games’ proven track record of supporting League of Legends, I expect Valorant to continue its exponential rise towards becoming a Tier 1 esport.

“I’m incredibly excited for Team Liquid to enter this vibrant scene, and to support this talented group of players. Fish123 was already one of the top teams in the world before donning the Liquid colours, and together, with our resources, we’ll be unstoppable.”
