Ahhh… achievements can be equally rewarding yet incredibly tedious when attempting to complete them all. Sure, there’s a sense of euphoria when unlocking an achievement, whether planned or not, but there’s something special when developers do this for their own games.<\/p>\n

The latter is true for Stardew Valley<\/a>‘s creator, Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, who provided an update of a different kind for his sandbox RPG. Posting to his social media accounts, he recently shared that, at long last, he had achieved a monumental feat that, indeed, some players have yet to achieve.<\/p>\n

ConcernedApe has finally earned 100% of its achievements in Stardew Valley, and he proved this recently by posting on his social media accounts. We’ve spotted this on his Twitter account, which, accompanying the caption, “Finally got 100% achievements in Stardew Valley,”<\/em><\/strong> is a screenshot from his Steam Achievements hub displaying his completion of all in-game achievements.<\/p>\n

Even more interesting is how Steam Achievements are listed or categorized, which for ConcernedApe is in order of unlocked date. His last achievement was “Fector’s Challenge,”<\/strong> a secret achievement that unlocks when players beat the “Journey of the Prairie King” minigame with no deaths, which only 1.2% of Stardew Valley players have completed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This minigame is found on the arcade machines inside The Stardrop Saloon, which they receive Prairie King Arcade System after they’ve beaten the game and is to be delivered them the following the day in-game. Given how many players know how challenging the “Fector’s Challenge” achievement is, ConcernedApe explained in a reply tweet<\/a> that he put plenty of time, like a few days, into progressing with this achievement.<\/p>\n

“I had to do it over a couple of days because I was on a multiplayer farm. But I didn’t “cheese” it with the reloads; it was a legitimate no-death run.” Nevertheless, ConcernedApe now joins 1.2% of global players to have earned the achievement, while the remaining players will continue attempting to beat the minigame on repeat until a run with no deaths.<\/p>\n
