Marvel Rivals<\/a> players have been actively following the official countdown to the global release of the superhero team-based PvP shooter this December. After the clock hit midnight, day four rolled around, and so did the next daily news announcement posted to the game’s social media accounts.<\/span><\/p>\n

As many continue to theorize and speculate about what could be announced by developer NetEase Games, we also receive another character promo video for the Strategist hero, Rocket Raccoon<\/a>. With around a month left until the game’s launch for consoles and PCs, what did the latest daily news announcement reveal for this smart-talking, tech-savvy Guardian for Marvel Rivals?<\/span><\/p>\n

The fourth day of the Marvel Rivals Global Countdown saw yet another new daily news announcement, for which it’s centered around Rocket Raccoon, one of the game’s Strategist characters that provided much-needed support to their team. And yes, it’s another character-exclusive skin for this marvelous Strategist hero, which fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), particularly a particular film trilogy, may recognize.<\/p>\n

The Guardians skin becomes available for Rocket Raccoon when the game launches this December, and if the name still doesn’t ring a bell, then maybe you’ll recognize where it drew its inspiration from. Based on the information provided in the Twitter post<\/a>, this skin is largely inspired by the same suit design worn by the character in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 film<\/a>, and now it’s crossing over to Marvel Rivals.<\/p>\n

We’re still unsure how players can acquire this skin, whether it’s from completed missions for Galacta’s Quest and claim it as a reward or if it is purchased from the in-game Shop. Either way, we’ll update this and other related pages to confirm how players can get this skin and equip to Rocket Raccoon before blasting enemies off the map in Marvel Rivals.<\/p>\n
