Players can now access the game on most consoles, PC, and PCVR. But there are still a few consoles missing from the games&#8217; platforms list; most notably, Phasmophobia isn&#8217;t on Meta Quest 3 VR quite yet. Here&#8217;s when, and if, players can expect Phasmophobia to come to the Meta Quest 3 VR.<\/p>\n<h2>Is Phasmophobia Coming To Meta Quest 3 VR?<\/h2>\n<p>In an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.videogamer.com\/news\/phasmophobia-devs-are-aware-of-quest-vr-demand-but-theyre-too-busy-with-everything-else-right-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">interview with VideoGamer<\/a>, Phasmophobia developer Ben Lavender said that <strong>a Quest version of the game &#8220;likely won&#8217;t happen for a long time.<\/strong>&#8221; Lavender explained that, while the team is aware of the &#8220;huge demand,&#8221; it&#8217;s a lot of work for a small team, and optimizing the game for Quest would be a large obstacle. Lavender noted that features like dynamic lightning can be expensive on headsets, Nintendo Switch devices, or older-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles.<\/p>\n<p>Lavender also said that the team hasn&#8217;t looked specifically at a Quest 3 VR version, since they&#8217;ve been &#8220;very busy running around with everything else.&#8221; However, Lavender also left things off on a hopeful note, saying that developers might revisit the idea after 1.0. However, they would need to &#8220;make sure it falls within the right space for the team.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It might not be exactly what fans want to hear, but unfortunately, it doesn&#8217;t sound like Phasmophobia is coming to the Meta Quest any time soon. Developers have been extremely busy working on the game&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/phasmophobia\/console-release-date-halloween-event-major-pc-update\">console release<\/a>, which hit digital shelves last week, just in time for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/phasmophobia\/blood-moon-rewards-how-to-redeem\">Phasmo&#8217;s Blood Moon event<\/a>. While a Meta Quest version of Phasmophobia doesn&#8217;t seem to be coming soon, it&#8217;s likely it could happen sometime far off in the future, so fans shouldn&#8217;t lose hope.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Phasmophobia finally released on consoles last week, after over a year of delays.
