Taking to Twitter (X)<\/a>, Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone explained in a public service announcement that to fix performance issues, if you are experiencing them, you should simply remove the hats from your pets.<\/p>\n

PSA: if you are experiencing performance issues in Stardew Valley 1.6, remove all hats from pets. We will address the problem as soon as possible<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The developer then went on to lore-ify the bug a bit, stating in a follow-up tweet that:<\/p>\n

There’s rumors of a strange rash affecting pets’ ears in Zuzu City and we just want to make sure those ears can breathe for a few days.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

How To Remove Hats From Pets in Stardew Valley<\/h2>\n

Not everyone knows how to remove hats from pets and just keep replacing them with other ones instead. Follow the steps below!<\/p>\n

  • Right-click on a new hat, causing the old one to get taken off.<\/li>\n
  • This does not apply to the new one, as you need to right-click again to apply.<\/li>\n
  • Instead of right-clicking, just leave it, and your pet will be hatless.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Despite some issues, Stardew Valley update 1.6.9 was a rather huge success, and everyone on consoles and mobile can also finally enjoy the 1.6 content.<\/p>\n
