As the strongest Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports<\/a> region, Europe has two Regional Major Rankings (RMR) events. We’ve already seen the APAC, American, and European A RMR events complete, and now, it’s time for the Shanghai Major European B RMR<\/a> tournament!<\/p>\n

Take a seat, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports fans, and learn about the European B RMR event so you don’t miss any of the action. We’ll outline the teams competing, the tournament format, the schedule, and how you can watch the live stream.<\/p>\n

Shanghai Major EU B RMR Dates & Format<\/h2>\n

As with the other three events, the Shanghai Major European B RMR is an offline tournament (no crowd) taking place in Shanghai, China. Teams are competing from their team rooms, so there’s no latency advantage. <\/p>\n

The event runs from 21 to 24 November 2024. This is the last RMR before all the teams for the main event of the Shanghai Major are known. <\/p>\n

The format is a 16-team Swiss System, where elimination and advancement matches are best-of-three (BO3), and all other matches are best-of-one (BO1). The Buchholz system is used for matchups from Round 3 to Round 5. <\/p>\n

The top seven teams will earn spots at the main event of the Perfect World Shanghai Major, while the bottom nine are eliminated.<\/p>\n

There are 16 teams competing at the European B RMR event, and many of them are considered some of the best in the world, with several top 20 squads in attendance. The lineup includes G2 Esports and Team Spirit, who are considered top five teams, with G2 Esports being on quite a considerable win streak right now.
