The fishing rod is hiding in plain sight somewhere in Brightoak. Bring up the map and locate the Northdell Farm, where they spoke to Kimberley and interact with the farm stall to buy the Pokey Fishing Rod for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/mirthwood\/beginners-guide\">20 Gold<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"input-sentence~2\">As of writing, this is the only location where we&#8217;ve found the fishing rod, which they can use to start fishing in the rivers, lakes, and ponds across the Free Lands. There&#8217;s one on their Housing Plot; however, if they go south down the path from their home until they&#8217;ve reached the dead end, move slightly west to find a lake with a dock.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"input-sentence~4\">Look out for a fishing pool to throw their line towards and left-click on their mouse to cast it out. A fishing minigame will appear on-screen, and the main objective is to shade the entire circle blue while keeping the hook in the green section.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Once the circle is entirely blue, this will complete the fishing minigame, in which they will harvest various resources from wood to multiple types of fish.
