(Picture: Kinetic Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1ie4qpjra6\">Camp Woodwind Map<\/h3>\n<p>Although you can play the Ranger challenge on two different maps, we recommend that you complete it on <strong>Camp Woodwind<\/strong> instead of the<strong> Maple Lodge Campsite <\/strong>maps. The former is considered a small map while Maple Lodge is medium, so it&#8217;ll be easier for you to find the ghosts on the former.<\/p>\n<p>However, since Camp Woodwind is a smaller map, it&#8217;s also harder to run from the ghost. You&#8217;ll want to carefully familiarize yourself with the map&#8217;s layout so you know not only where the ghost rooms are, but the hiding spots, too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ghost Rooms<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Camp Woodwind is a little bit different from other Phasmophobia maps in that it&#8217;s mostly outdoors, so the ghost rooms aren&#8217;t clearly separated. There are 11 distinct ghost rooms in Woodwind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yellow Tent<\/li>\n<li>White Tent<\/li>\n<li>Blue Tent<\/li>\n<li>Red Tent<\/li>\n<li>Bathroom<\/li>\n<li>Kids&#8217; Area<\/li>\n<li>Lovers&#8217; Bench<\/li>\n<li>Picnic Area<\/li>\n<li>Campfire<\/li>\n<li>Games Tent<\/li>\n<li>Food Tent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hiding Spots<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are seven different hiding spots on Camp Woodwind. If you&#8217;re playing on a higher difficulty that limits hiding spots, some of those might not be available for you. Here&#8217;s all the hiding spots you&#8217;ll probably want to familiarize yourself with before starting the challenge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Campfire, behind barrels on your right, right after entering the map<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Campfire, behind coolers in the center of the map<\/li>\n<li>Picnic Area, behind cooler boxes next to White Tent<\/li>\n<li>Yellow Tent, behind sleeping bags inside<\/li>\n<li>Kids&#8217; Area, small orange tent<\/li>\n<li>Kids&#8217; Area, small cyan tent<\/li>\n<li>Food Tent, behind a table<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1ie4qpjra7\">Ranger Challenge Equipment<\/h3>\n<p>Completing the Ranger Challenge is easier when you bring along the right equipment. Aim for bringing Tier III items if you have them; if not, it&#8217;s a good idea to bring the best items you&#8217;ve got on hand. If you&#8217;re playing with friends, you might consider using a high-level friends&#8217; loadout to complete the challenge more quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, you&#8217;ll want to bring with you the standard ghost-hunting gear &#8211; including DOTS, a Ghost Writing Book, a UV Light, a Spirit Box, a Video Camera, and a Thermometer.<\/p>\n<p>But you&#8217;ll also want to make sure you have <strong>2 Crucifixes<\/strong> on hand, as well as some <strong>Incense <\/strong>and a <strong>Lighter<\/strong>. This ensures that not only will you be able to find the ghost with your base loadout, you&#8217;ll have the tools to protect yourself and survive, getting progress toward the challenge. Being well-prepared is key to surviving in Camp Woodwind and making it out.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1ie4qpjra8\">Difficulty Level<\/h3>\n<p>You can complete the Ranger Challenge on any difficulty level, so feel free to experiment. You can always start out on Amateur, and, as you get to know the map, switch over to Intermediate or Professional for future matches. Finding the ghost and surviving may be easier on Amateur if you struggle with hunts.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1ie4qpjra9\">Ranger Challenge Rewards<\/h2>\n<p>You&#8217;ll finish the Ranger Challenge as soon as you identify your 50th ghost on Woodwind or Maple Lodge and survive. Upon completing the Lighthouse Keeper challenge, you&#8217;ll earn yourself the <strong>Ranger ID <\/strong>badge!
