In the first Quarterfinal match of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024<\/a>, MOUZ eliminated The MongolZ with a 2-0 sweep<\/a>. On 12 December 2024, the second Quarterfinal match of the day took place between Team Liquid and Team Spirit, the latter of which is one of the favorites to win the entire event.<\/span><\/p>\n

In front of a huge crowd at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, we saw Team Liquid and Team Spirit clash. Here’s what went down in our full CS2 match report!<\/p>\n

On Team Liquid’s map pick of Anubis, it was Team Spirit who found the first Pistol Round on the CT side. However, Team Liquid quickly retaliated to spot the conversion, win the 3rd round, and then extend their lead to 3-1. <\/p>\n

Despite some heroics from Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, Team Liquid kept chipping away at Team Spirit’s economy and extending their lead. At the end of the first half, the perseverance from Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov’s side was clear as day, with Team Spirit pulling back to tie 6-6.<\/p>\n
