You&#8217;ll be able to make your way through &#8220;ancient slime ruins,&#8221; survive pools of molten lava, and explore vast architecture.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Players should exercise caution while traversing the depths of the maze,&#8221; developers warn. They&#8217;ll need to watch out for strange events called Prisma Disruptions, which impact the environment and may even injure the player.<\/p>\n<p>The game&#8217;s new slimes include the <strong>Shadow Slime<\/strong>, <strong>Sloomber Slime<\/strong>, and<strong> Twin Slime<\/strong>. The Twin Slime boasts a unique ability: it can create portals, allowing you to move objects from one area to another effortlessly. The Sloomber Slime, on the other hand, is excessively sleepy &#8211; just as its name implies &#8211; making it easier to catch.<\/p>\n<p>New slimes aren&#8217;t the only new characters players will meet; you&#8217;ll also get to talk to Gigi, the character who summoned you here to Rainbow Island. Talking to them in the Labyrinth will let you learn the island&#8217;s secrets, and finally begin to figure out why you&#8217;re here as you discover the mysteries behind the area.<\/p>\n<p>But that&#8217;s not all. Players will be able to take advantage of six new Vac upgrades, along with 18 new variants of gadgets. This will make exploring the Labryinth a lot easier, and allow you to meet the interesting characters and slimes inside without meeting your end.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Slime Rancher 2 is available on Early Access on Xbox Series X\/S, Windows PC, and PlayStation 5 for &#36;29.99.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Slime Rancher 2 just got its most comprehensive content update yet, Into the Labryinth (v.0.6.0), which introduces the new Grey Labyrinth area.
