We’re just days away from the global theatrical release of the third mainline entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog live-action film series, which garnered much excitement with the inclusion of Shadow the Hedgehog. The anthropomorphic lifeform, Shadow, is making his film debut in Sonic the Hedgehog 3<\/a> and, voiced by actor Keanu Reeves, joins an impressive live-action and voiceover cast, including Idris Elba, who is back once again as the headstrong Knuckles following the premiere of the character’s spin-off series on Paramount+.<\/p>\n

Screen Rant’s Joe Deckelmeier chatted with the cast of Sonic the Hedgehog 3<\/a> ahead of the film’s global release in theatres on 20th December 2024. Sonic 3’s Idris Elba, who’s back to voice Knuckles the Echidna<\/a>, made some interesting comments about reuniting with Shadow the Hedgehog’s voice actor Keanu Reeves<\/a> in an adaptation for another video game.<\/span><\/p>\n
