Dead by Daylight Mobile is closing its doors for good<\/strong> after months of speculation that the game would shut down<\/a>. The game will officially close all operations on 20 March 2025, <\/strong>meaning that players won’t be able to play any games on the server after that date. The game will be removed from the App Store and Google Play on 16 January 2025<\/strong> so that no new players will be able to download it. Players will be able to make in-game transactions until DBD Mobile’s app store removal in January.<\/p>\n

“Dear People of The Fog, the team at NetEase Games is deeply saddened to announce that Dead by Daylight Mobile will officially be leaving app stores <\/strong>on Thursday January 16, 2025, and ceasing operations entirely as of Thursday March 20,” NetEase Games wrote. “While this has been an extremely difficult decision, we remain eternally grateful for the time you’ve chosen to spend with us in The Fog.”<\/p>\n

Rumors surrounding the game’s closure started swirling around back in October, when developers deleted Q&A posts surrounding the games’ future and silently cancelled another Q&A session. They also extended the current Rift until 20 March, which we now know is the final date of the game’s operations. On 10 October, the game posted its final update and patch notes. <\/p>\n

Developers noted that Behaviour will continue to “produce, support, and grow” Dead by Daylight on PC and console. Those who switch over to one of those platforms will receive a Welcome Package, “complete with loyalty rewards based on your money spent and XP earned in Dead by Daylight Mobile.” <\/p>\n

The Welcome Package<\/strong> can be claimed by all DBD Mobile players, even if you also already play on PC or console. It includes a standard welcome gift for all players consisting of 500,000 Bloodpoints and 2,250 Iridescent Shards. You’ll also get more Auric Cells and Iridescent Shards depending on how much you spent on the game, and you’ll receive Bloodpoints based on your total XP earned\/player level.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
