Ubisoft recently announced that its action RPG Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been delayed once again, confirming its new release date of 20th March 2025<\/a>. The Assassin’s Creed series executive producer Marc-Alexis Côté made the statement posted to the Assassin’s Creed news site and across social media, stating that the team needed a few extra weeks to implement “valuable feedback”<\/strong><\/em> they’ve gained from the community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pre-orders for Assassin’s Creed Shadows have yet to go live, but their game listings are available across its multiple platforms for consoles and PCs. Speaking of its game listings, one in particular seemingly confirmed post-launch content<\/a> that will be coming soon to Assassin’s Creed Shadows; however, details are minimal as of writing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the delayed announcement of Assassin’s Creed Shadows on 9th January 2025, the game’s listings were updated to reflect its new release date despite pre-ordering being unavailable. However, an interesting detail spotted by Insider Gaming<\/a> revealed some details of what players can anticipate post-launch, including a reference to a DLC arriving sometime this year.<\/span><\/p>\n
First found below the “Pre-Purchase Offer”<\/strong> on its Steam listing<\/a>,<\/strong> it mentions that those who’ve secured their copy of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will receive a bonus quest upon the game’s launch and the “Claws of Awaji expansion” launching later this year. This information wasn’t intended to be announced following the game’s delay; however, the Steam listing has been updated, removing this information, but it may have been a little too late for Ubisoft.<\/span><\/p>\n
Other information removed from its Steam listing includes details for the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition, including unique cosmetics like gear and weapons sets, trinkets, ornaments, and mastery points. This information wasn’t intended to be announced following the recent delay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows; however, the Steam listing has been updated, removing this information, but it may have been a little too late for Ubisoft.<\/p>\n
