The subject of a Bloodborne Remaster has been a heavily discussed topic across online and social media platforms, as many players have yearned to revisit Yharnam for modern hardware, including PlayStation 5 and, more importantly, on PC. FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki provided comments on the possibility of a PS5/PC port for Bloodborne, which he revealed that “it’s nothing” he’s “opposed to,” but saying if he does, he’ll “get in trouble.”

So it makes for an interesting subject to discuss when former PlayStation head Shuhei Yoshida stopped at Kinda Funny Games this week, where he was asked about the Bloodborne Remaster. His answer was a theory on why it has yet to materialize and whether he would like it to happen in the future.

Yoshida has understood how contentious discussing anything relating to the Bloodborne Remaster has been over the last few years, something he acknowledged when questioned if there’s a possibility we may see a remaster. He revealed that this has been a frequently asked question on Twitter, to which he responded that “the people wonder why we haven’t really done anything… it should be easy, right?”
