More recently, after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/nintendo\/switch-2-replica-shown-off-at-ces-2025-accessory-manufacturer\">an accessory brand revealed replica models for the forthcoming console<\/a>, despite Nintendo stating that those images and videos aren&#8217;t official, they took matters into their own hands <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NintendoAmerica\/status\/1879878525559419007\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">and revealed the Nintendo Switch 2<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NintendoAmerica\/status\/1879879950854926422\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Switch successor was confirmed in a reveal trailer<\/a> uploaded to the social media channels and the official Nintendo YouTube channel on 16th January 2025. the redesigned Joy-Cons are still detachable but now utilize magnets, which hopefully won&#8217;t cause any Joy-Con drift issues relating to the controllers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"input-sentence~4\">We&#8217;ll have to wait until April 2025 for the Nintendo Direct presentation for more details regarding the Nintendo Switch 2, including its launch date, pre-ordering information, hardware specs, game releases, and more.&nbsp;<\/span>It&#8217;s already been confirmed that most&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/nintendo\/switch-2-backward-compatible-software-switch-online\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Switch games and the Nintendo Switch Online subscription<\/a> will be backward compatible with the new console at launch.<\/p>\n<div class=\"rsp-embed-container\" contenteditable=\"false\">\n<div style=\"left: 0;
