FaZe Clan suffered a rather shocking defeat against Brazillian side paiN Gaming. At the time of the match, FaZe Clan was ranked 5th in the world, while paiN Gaming was ranked 14th.<\/p>\n

With a spot at the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1 Finals on the line, FaZe Clan took an early lead on Dust2 (paiN’s pick) with a 7-5 score, but paiN Gaming came back swinging in the second half to win the map 13-10. On FaZe Clan’s map pick of Inferno, they again took a first-half lead of 7-5 before losing 13-11 to an on-form Brazillian side.<\/p>\n

paiN Gaming’s new addition, Chilean rifler David “⁠dav1deuS⁠” Tapia, topped the scoreboard, while FaZe Clan fell flat, and only Helvijs “broky” Saukants boasted a positive K\/D ratio.<\/p>\n

To be fair, FaZe Clan nearly forced a third map but fell apart in the 22nd round on Inferno. They were in an almost unlosable 4v2 situation on the CT side defending, and paiN managed to pull off a huge comeback.<\/p>\n
