Japanese publisher SEGA launched a new gaming service called the SEGA Account<\/a> this month; however, details on what this offering provides are pretty vague. At face value, this latest service appears to offer some loyalty rewards, in which players can earn unique items when playing their favorite SEGA game by syncing their platform to this service.<\/p>\n

According to the official announcement post, SEGA Account grants its accountholders “access to a host of benefits when playing SEGA and ATLUS titles and using their online services.”<\/em><\/strong> Additionally, they’ll be notified of the latest news and updates regarding any and all “SEGA\/ATLUS games, events, and promotions.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
