I thought “rostermania” was over in the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports<\/a> community. Guess I was wrong…since MOUZ has, with immediate effect, removed in-game leader Kamil “⁠siuhy⁠” Szkaradek from their starting lineup, citing “different visions for the team’s direction” as the reason.<\/p>\n

Swedish AWPer Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin will take on the mantle of IGL, while Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás and Dorian “xertioN” Berman will “undertake expanded responsibilities within the team.” <\/p>\n

The initial announcement revealed that Adrian “xelex” Vincze from the MOUZ NXT will serve as a stand-in for IEM Katowice 2025<\/a>. The event begins on 29 January 2025 with the Play-In stage, but MOUZ is a direct-invite team, so they have a little longer (1 February) before they need to play. <\/p>\n

At the time of writing, no further details about Kamil “⁠siuhy⁠” Szkaradek’s removal were available. Many fans, including myself, definitely didn’t expect this move. The latest reports suggest that MOUZ has come to a verbal agreement with Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, who is currently on Team Vitality’s bench.<\/p>\n
