He’s also an impassioned citizen who decided to stand up for his people’s rights in the ongoing protests in Belarus. Unfortunately, it seems like he’s paid a hefty price.<\/p>\n

The 2020 Belarusian Protests are a series of ongoing demonstrations against dictator Alexander Lukashenko after his regime won what many believed to be a rigged election. More than 6000 people have been arrested<\/a>, while 39 have been injured and two have been killed<\/a> in a situation that is becoming more serious and chaotic.<\/p>\n
