Surgent Studios, the development studio behind the afro-futuristic Metroidvania-style adventure game Tales of Kenzera: Zau<\/a>, is officially working on their next game. This was announced in a social media post by the game’s creative director and Surgent Studios founder, actor, and producer, Abubakar Salim, who reposted it to his personal Twitter account confirming this exciting news<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The game in question isn’t a sequel to Tales of Kenzera: Zau<\/a> but a brand new IP, a horror game, which is scheduled to release sometime in 2025, with more details to be announced in the coming months. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the studio has partnered with Pocketpair Publishing as its publisher<\/a>, and we look forward to this next gaming adventure for Surgent Studios.<\/p>\n
