Playtonic Games is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2025 and has plenty of playful surprises for players. One of the surprises is coming to the platformer gaming remaster Yooka-Replaylee<\/a>, which launched with “new remixed challenges,”<\/em><\/strong> an in-game map, a “shiny new currency,”<\/em><\/strong> and plenty of customization options for gaming’s “favorite buddy duo.”<\/p>\n

As for the surprise in question, something “shiny”<\/strong><\/em> and rather “shovel…ier”<\/em><\/strong> as yet another platformer icon will be swooping in to come to the aid of Yooka and Laylee. As for when players can expect the arrival of the legendary shiny knight, Playtonic has yet to announce the launch date for Yooka-Replaylee, which is currently available to be added to their Wishlist for consoles and PC.<\/p>\n
