The snake’s out of the bag… or out of a cardboard box; as a blunder on part of Sony’s digital storefront, the PlayStation Store, as it accidentally revealed key information for Konami’s upcoming Metal Gear Solid remaster. The official PlayStation Store listing for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater didn’t have a confirmed release date prior to the leak, but this major detail slipped through the digital cracks.

This leak included a trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater posted to its store page, which accompanied details on gameplay content, features, and, of course, a release date for this Fall. It’s possible that this information may have been withheld until the forthcoming PlayStation State of Play, which is being teased to be held this February 2025 (h/t NateTheHate).
