FFXIV’s next big patch has been scheduled for late March 2025. Patch 7.2, called Seekers of Eternity, is set to roll out some new Main Scenario Quests, continuing the Dawntrail<\/a> story of Wuk Lamat and our Warrior of Light. <\/p>\n

But that’s not all that’s coming in this new patch update. Thanks to Square Enix’s most recent Letter from the Producer broadcast, fans have gotten a quick glimpse at what’s to come from Patch 7.2 Part 1. <\/p>\n

As is always the way with Final Fantasy XIV, there’s new content being rolled out across a variety of avenues. For one, players will have a brand new dungeon to sink their teeth into — the Underkeep. While only a fraction of the dungeon has been teased so far, it seems to hold a strong resemblance to the Alexandria Castle from FFIX, a Final Fantasy game that has a strong connection to FFXIV’s latest expansion. <\/p>\n

In the broadcast<\/a> (29:00), a still is shown of the upper level of the castle, an area FFIX fans will remember running through as Zidane. <\/p>\n

Players can also expect a new Raid, the Arcadion Cruiserweight tier, to become available for brave WoL’s to tackle, a new Trial called Recollection, as well as the return of PvP mode Frontline (Secure), now with some new improvements.<\/p>\n

New Allied Society quests will also be arriving with Patch 7.2, this time centered on the Mamool Ja, along with new Allagan Tomestones (Allagan Tomestones of Mathematics). <\/p>\n
