Supergiant Games has released the second major update, The Warsong, for their action roguelike RPG Hades 2<\/a>, which is still available on PC via Steam Early Access. This update welcomes new gameplay additions and adjustments as detailed in the update’s patch notes, which are available via its Steam listing, alongside new bug fixes and miscellaneous changes.<\/p>\n

This update also welcomes the infamous God of War, Ares, whose arrival brings along his “varied and vicious Boons,”<\/strong><\/em> which can be used to “satisfy his thirst for blood.”<\/strong><\/em> And for those who may need assistance to keep them on the “straight and narrow,”<\/strong><\/em> a new Animal Familiar is available for players to establish a bond with and who will keep them “out of harm’s way!”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The Warsong update also expands the game’s current narrative in preparation for Hades 2’s v1.0 launch, which the developer noted they’d be “planning ahead”<\/strong><\/em> for its story by “building on various character relationships and subplots.”<\/strong><\/em> Other gameplay content outlined in the official announcement<\/a> and patch notes<\/a> that players can look forward to includes The Final Confrontation, in which Supergiant Games states that there is something to discover once they’ve summit Mount Olympus.<\/p>\n
