Dead By Daylight<\/a> developer Behaviour Interactive has consistently released free and paid expansion packs, which added a host of new content, including new Survivors, Killers, maps, perks, and more. The paid expansions have been reserved for licensed content over the past few years with crossovers with popular horror films and television properties and video game franchises like Alan Wake<\/a>, Child’s Play (Chucky), Resident Evil<\/a>, Saw, and Scream.<\/p>\n

The Hellraiser Chapter DLC is another paid expansion added to Dead By Daylight around four years ago; however, its launch was marred in controversy relating to character voice lines<\/a> and the NFT debacle<\/a>. Despite the controversies surrounding the Hellraiser Chapter DLC, the game’s developer revealed unfortunate news on the fate of this paid expansion.<\/p>\n

Behaviour Interactive released the Hellraiser Chapter DLC in 2021<\/a>, adding Pinhead, the Cenobite Killer, and his perks in a paid DLC for consoles and PCs. After four years of tormenting Survivors in the Trials, Behavior Interactive announced that the paid Hellraiser Chapter DLC will be removed<\/a> from the game starting from 4th March 2024 for the first-party storefronts except the Nintendo eShop, which will be gone on 13th March 2025.<\/p>\n

The Cenobite has brought Survivors both pleasure and pain for almost four years now, but it’s time for The Hellraiser Chapter to leave the store on April 4th 2025. Any of the Chapter content unlocked before that date will remain available to use in-game. <\/p>\n

The developer didn’t give players much time to grab the Hellraiser Chapter DLC from storefronts like the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or Steam, as following the announcement, the Hellraiser Chapter DLC is no longer listed. However, Dead By Daylight players can acquire the Cenobite Killer from the in-game Store as a Last Chance Sale, which went live on 4th March 2025, with Pinhead gaining a 50% discount and his available cosmetics.<\/p>\n

They’ve also stated that players who unlock the Cenobite Killer by purchasing it from the in-game Store will earn the Lament Configuration Charm. Players have until 4th April 2025 at 8 am PT \/ 11 am ET\/ 4 pm UTC to acquire and unlock the Cenobite Killer, his cosmetics, and his three unlockable perks<\/strong>, but for those who have yet to own and unlock Pinhead, “the perks will appear in the General perk pool to be available to unlock on any other Killer immediately as these General perks will appear under new names,”<\/strong><\/em> the developer stated in an FAQ post.<\/p>\n

Lastly, players can still level up The Cenobite to acquire his Add-Ons, and likewise, Prestige is the character to receive Prestige rewards if Pinhead is unlocked before the 4th April 2025 deadline.
