The LEGO Event in Fisch isn’t just about colorful brick-themed fish. It’s also the debut of one of the event’s biggest prizes: the Studolodon. This powerful, playful beast isn’t just for show either—that’s because catching it is the key to completing your LEGO Event bestiary and unlocking the Arctic Explorer Boat.

Here’s how to catch the Studolodon in Fisch during the LEGO Event.

To catch the Studolodon in Fisch, you’ll first need to make sure you’ve started the LEGO Event quest by speaking to Brickford Masterson at Moosewood (coordinates X: 412, Y: 137, Z: 365). He’ll hand you the Brick Built Rod, the only rod capable of reeling in the Studolodon.

Once you’re equipped, you must fish specifically during an active Studolodon Hunt. These hunts are similar to the Megalodon Hunts, meaning the Studolodon can only be caught once the special event spawns in the world.

Unlike LEGO Pools, which appear every 15 minutes, the Studolodon Hunt can be manually triggered using a Sundial Totem, or it can spawn naturally. The event lasts for 10 minutes or until the Studolodon is caught. Make sure you are fishing with Stud Bait, as it’s the only bait type that will attract the Studolodon during the hunt.

Studolodon Hunts will spawn somewhere across Sea 1 or Sea 2, although exact coordinates aren’t confirmed yet. Based on early sightings, Mushgrove Swamp seems to be a popular spawn hotspot. You’ll know when a Studolodon Hunt is active because you’ll receive a notification

You’ll also be able to spot a special pool of LEGO bricks sparkling in the ocean. When you find the pool, simply cast your Brick Built Rod with Stud Bait and wait. The Studolodon is a rare catch but very noticeable once hooked, and it will put up a tougher fight (-85% progress speed) than regular fish.

And that’s everything about how to find and catch the Studolodon in Fisch. Once caught, you’ll be one step closer to the Arctic Explorer Boat.

The LEGO Event in Fisch isn’t just about colorful brick-themed fish.
