Riot Games has dropped the patch notes for Valorant patch 10.08, and it’s a big one. Alongside key agent balance changes, the patch brings Gifting feature that will let players in-game gift items to their friends.

With the release of the update, Yoru’sDimensional Drift ultimate has had its duration shortened from 12 seconds to 10, and it’ll now cost 8 points instead of 7. According to Riot, this change is aimed at bringing the ability more in line with similarly impactful ultimates.

Astra also received a minor nerf, with her Nova Pulse stun duration reduced from 4 seconds to 3.5. Brimstone got a small quality-of-life update as the audio on his Incendiary molotov has been improved to make it easier to hear, especially when used inside smoke.

Moreover, as Valorant celebrates its fifth anniversary, long-time players will be hit with a wave of nostalgia as the Episode 1 menu, character select, and victory/defeat music have returned for patches 10.08 and 10.09.

Let’s kick off our 5 Year celebration with a little message from Anna Donlon. pic.twitter.com/MuSfdUJXTP

— VALORANT (@VALORANT) April 29, 2025
