SEGA announced their next Sonic-focused project, Sonic Rumble, which is launching for mobile devices and PCs and is currently available in its “Pre-Launch period.” During this period, the developer had launched a handful of patch updates, new game modes, and events for players to participate in; even a crossover with Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film<\/a> made its way to the battle royale game.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sonic Rumble was initially slated to release in May 2025, in which its next update was to be released sometime following the game’s official launch. SEGA’s Sonic Rumble team made an announcement this week, just days away from the game’s launch, announcing its delay with more news to follow soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

The upcoming party battle royale, Sonic Rumble, was initially slated to be released for mobile devices and PCs on 8th May 2025, with the next update, v1.2, planned to launch sometime thereafter. This update adds new in-game content, including new Skills, Crews to team up and clear missions together, and Rumble Ranking by participating in a new League mode to earn unique rewards.<\/span><\/p>\n
