Catch Challenge &#8211; All Timed Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"article__body roboto-regular\" data-words=\"536\">\n<p>Before the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/pokemon\/pokemon-go-fest-2022-finale-event-new-ultra-beasts\">Pok\u00e9mon GO Fest 2022 Finale<\/a> arrives, the Bug Out! event will serve as one of the final themed weeks of the Summer, and Trainers can expect a brand new Catch Challenge. The latest timed research will task players with catching all kinds of Bug-type Pok\u00e9mon in the wild.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll have about one week to complete all of the special event challenges, whether it&#8217;s a Collection Challenge or the Catch Challenge. Bug Out! begins on August 10 and will run until August 16. After the event comes to a close, you won&#8217;t be able to access any of the research, but this guide will outline each step of the way so you don&#8217;t miss it.<\/p>\n<h2>All timed research for the Pok\u00e9mon GO Bug Out! Collection Challenge<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/BugOutMegaScizzor.jpg\" alt=\"Mega Scizor\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Mega Scizor will make a debut this week. (Picture: Niantic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Both the Catch Challenge and the Collection Challenge in the Bug Out! event are two entirely different tasks. It&#8217;s exciting to get the chance for a Pinsir or a Scyther as a reward, especially with the opportunity for a shiny. However, Mega Scizor and Grubbin will be the only two major rewards in the research.<\/p>\n<h3>Bug Out!
