But it received a complete overhaul on PC and Console, and now some of those changes are finally happening on PUBG Mobile as well.<\/p>\n<p>The revamped version of the map will feature all-new elements such as trenches, tree-trunk barriers, abandoned tanks, and bunkers. This will help players come up with new strategies and tactics. Many buildings and shelters around the map are also being changed and improved.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be some changes to large resource points. An upgraded lighting system will help make the environment look more realistic, and players will be able to see reflections and shadows a lot better. It will also fix engine security issues, optimise the impact of security monitoring on performance, optimise and tighten the process and tools of security protocols, and add a better replay review and spectating systems.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Additional Features<\/h2>\n<p>PUBG Mobile&rsquo;s latest update will also add a small list of additional features. This includes the addition of an all-new semi-automatic shotgun exclusive to Livik, as well as an event called Beyond A.C.E Themed Gameplay that can be activated after meeting certain conditions in combat.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/playerunknown-s-battlegrounds\/pubg-mobile-esports-director-compete-with-league-of-legends-csgo\">PUBG Mobile esports director: &ldquo;We want to compete with League of Legends and CS:GO&rdquo;<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It will also improve the Cheer Park: Training Ground and add both a Halloween Theme and a Halloween Infection Mode on October 23. And last but not least, it will also bring back the popular Payload Mode.<\/p>\n<h2>Update Size<\/h2>\n<p>PUBG Mobile&rsquo;s latest update will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/esports\/news-pubg-mobile-1-0-update-size-revealed-android-ios?article-trending\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reportedly be around 1.5 GB<\/a> on Android devices and 1.0 GB on iOS devices. That&rsquo;s not too bad considering how much the patch is adding to the game.<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, you&rsquo;ll be able to download the latest version on the <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.tencent.ig&amp;hl=en_AU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Play Store<\/a> for Android devices and the <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/au\/app\/pubg-mobile-new-map-livik\/id1330123889\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App Store<\/a> for iOS devices once it goes live. Unfortunately, players in India won&rsquo;t be able to join after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/playerunknown-s-battlegrounds\/pubg-mobile-banned-india-alongside-over-100-apps\">government banned PUBG Mobile<\/a> along with 117 other apps.<\/p>\n<h2>Release Time<\/h2>\n<p>There has been no official word on any specific release time, but we do know that the patch will be going live sometime today. The servers won&rsquo;t be taken down for maintenance, but once the patch is live, the older version will not be able to support matchmaking with the newer version.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That means players will need to keep an eye out for themselves and update the game as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<h2>PUBG Mobile v1.0 patch notes<\/h2>\n<p>The complete patch notes can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pubgmobile.com\/en-US\/news_detail\/webplat\/info\/news_version3\/35372\/35373\/35374\/35386\/35387\/m20497\/202009\/868877.shtml\">official PUBG Mobile<\/a> website. An abbreviated list can be found below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><strong>New Erangel:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">All-new Visuals<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Updated the sky, land, water, and vegetation to be more realistic and detailed<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">Building Changes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Changed the structure of some buildings.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">Large Resource Point Changes\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">Mylta Power: Mylta Power has been remodeled with a new building layout to make resource points closer to one another for more unexpected developments in battle.<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">Quarry: Improved the terrain structure, adjusted the layout of buildings, added 7 new large warehouses, and added landing points for even more looting options.<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">Prison: Adjusted the terrain structure to add more walls in the surroundings. Adjusted some building layouts to give everyone new tactical options.<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">Adjustments to other resource points in the Play Zone: Added a number of resource points in the Play Zone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">New Map Elements<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Added trenches, wooden barricades, abandoned tanks, and constructions as cover to create a more compelling battlefield atmosphere across Erangel which will make new tactics and strategies possible.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">Building Structure Changes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: none;\">Adjusted the structure of some urban areas to give players an even better experience when attacking and defending. Some buildings now feature basements, and players will have to smash the wooden door of the basements with their weapons before they can enter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: none;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><strong>Livik Improvements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">New firearm: M1014\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">All-new semi-automatic shotgun.
